nsArtisan is a product focused on order procurement. What is in it has been carefully selected with this in mind. It has a clean professional look, easy to get at contact details, a company profile, an efficient easy to use catalogue / order placement system linked to a powerful accounts backend. It also serves as a clean to the point public web site.
Orders arrive via email and are also posted to your netStep account providing running statements both for you and your customers.
Who is this product for?
nsArtisan is specifically designed for product producers, and resellers selling catalogue items to known customers. Two versions, nsArtisan and nsArtisan make it available to both artisans and manufacturers, wanting an order procurement tool that will put the full product range in front of the customer, deliver clean standard orders and manage customers and accounts.
Why was it developed?
nsArtisan was developed in response to industry demand. It is part of an effort to give producers and resellers something that will work on the web and reduce unnecessary and cumbersome paper processing. This creates a stronger relationship between the buyer and the seller, which translates to more orders more often.

- Standard electronic orders -> Efficiently handle orders, no more deciphering faxes, every incoming order is the same, the netStep running statement keeps a central record of all orders made.
- Delivers different prices to different people -> Distributors get wholesale prices, consumers get retail prices mates get mates rates. It means you can have your public web presence and reseller network using the same product.
- Simple -> It is simple to update and simple to place orders in. nsArtisan accepts over 160 image formats meaning anything can be uploaded. Thumbnails are created by the system automatically meaning complex third party software is not required. What is in the product has been carefully selected for what is needed meaning that the site is clean and not cluttered with unnecessary information.
- Built on netStep -> Meaning that there is already a user base setup ready to use your site. It means centralized accounts both for you and your customers and the ability to write invoices for things other than what is coming in from the site.
- Is a hosted rental application - > Meaning that you do not need to install any software on your PC, can use it from any PC and that you get most updates and upgrades for free.
